This page contains categories of links that I have found useful and enlightening. I've tried to make this page "easy-to-use", though that may require you to click through to another page.

For example, my Genealogy links page on OFPv1 had hundreds of links. It made the page itself a little unwieldy to add links and, I'm sure, to find links. So I have split it up. I hope it's easier to navigate, now. In fact, I hope all the links are easier to navigate.

These category links will go to other pages on OFPv2, some of which contain information other than links. I have "sectionalized" each page, and these will link directly to the links section. I hope none of this is confusing to you... It's a little confusing to me as I write it, but I'm sure it will all work out okay.

If you have any links:

• that fit any of the categories listed,
• that you think should be in any of the categories,
• that you would like to see listed here under a new category

let me know. If it's something that I believe others will want to know (or I like ), I will include it here.

NOTE: In some cases, I've provided descriptions of the pages being linked. Some of these descriptions, other than page titles, are my own and not the site owner's. Some descriptions will include instructions to get to certain parts of the site linked, especially if a download is one of the reasons for visiting the site.

If you find any links or descriptions that don't work, please be sure to let me know, also. While I check out all links from time to time, many of these sites get updated fairly regularly, and my descriptions may no longer apply or be correct.

(No, I'm not trying to create a "portal" for anyone but myself, and anyone else who has the same tastes, desire to know, and questions I have.)

Also, please note that I intentionally left some list bullets blank at the end of the some of the lists for ease of expansion. ;-)

• Job Search Links
  As stated on my home page, my position was terminated, so I was looking for a job everywhere I possibly could in Central Indiana (within around 50 miles or so of Lebanon, IN). As I did, I realized that others were in the same position as I, and could use a single page on which to find numerous categorized links, and information about each of them.
   
• Hometown Links - Boone County and Lebanon (Indiana)
  This has always bothered me -- It seemed (Late 2002-Early 2003) that none of the local (Lebanon, IN) sites had links to the local businesses, especially the business parks, at least all in one place. Then I found the Boone County Community Network (BCCN - link is listed in Hometown Links page), but it doesn't include the LBP businesses. It seems to me that if internet promotion of the County and City is desired, someone should have a single page where the links are listed. Also, for those in or moving to the area who are looking for jobs at these places on the internet, I hope this page makes it a lot easier to find what these businesses do, and, in many cases, to find the jobs listed on these business' sites. I did the best I could to gather them all together in one place. Again, if I missed or "mis-described" some, let me know.

  Greater Lafayette, Indiana-related links, and Fort Myers/North Fort Myers and Bradenton, Florida-related links. I still have family in Lafayette, my parents just moved to Florida (for part-time living) and my uncle lives in Bradenton, Florida. These were created so they can work off of one page for most of their needs.
   
• Genealogy Links
  After spending the days looking for a job, I began spending the later evenings into the night looking for my ancestors. The story is in the introduction section of the page, so I won't go into it here. I know there are many genealogy and genealogical link pages out there, but the ones I found I was using over and over, I saved as favorites. I hope you find them useful, too.
