Confirmation Email AB FAQ Permalink

When you sign up (Answerbag User Guide - Sign Up Page), you should receive a "confirmation email" similar to the following from the Answerbag Admin (). This will come with a subject of "Answerbag registration, please click to confirm".:

Account Verified Email AB FAQ Permalink

Once you click the confirmation link in the email above, you should receive an "account verified email" similar to the following from the Answerbag Admin (). This will come with a subject of "Answerbag - Account Verified!".

Problems with Confirmation AB FAQ Permalink

Now and then some users have problems receiving their confirmation or verification email, and this means they cannot rate or comment on Answerbag. There are a couple of things you can try/do:

1. If you have not received your confirmation email:
   1. Go to your Profile Page (click on your avatar or username)
   2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
   3. Click on the "Feedback" link
   4. In the comments box, explain that you have not received your Confirmation Email, and would like to have this corrected.
   5. Hit the Submit button
2. If you have received your confirmation email:
   1. Go to your Profile Page (click on your avatar or username)
      1. Scroll to the bottom of the page
      2. Click on the "Feedback" link
      3. In the comments box, explain that you have not received your Confirmation Email, and would like to have this corrected.
      4. Hit the Submit button.
   2. Simply reply to the email (or send one from the email account you used to sign into Answerbag to the Answerbag Admin ())
      1. Explain that you have not been able to get your confirmation link to work correctly.

In either case, you may receive an email telling you it's fixed and you can now comment/rate, or you may receive a(nother) confirmation email (see above).
