Orange Frog Productions Websites

  • Bud Sanders Appraisals
My father's appraisal business website. It was the first website I created and has been through a number of iterations, each better than the last. Though my father's retired, he sold the business to a long-time associate. They have since changed the original format of the site, but many of the page formats are the same as I had designed.
  • Orange Frog Productions
This website. When I lost my job in early 2003, I created this site as a way to get my resume out into internet-land, and to "show my stuff", such as it is. (Look around!)
  • Me, Myself and I (BigDaddyBS Blog)
My personal blog at Blogger. This is where I write things I want to write about, but don't seem to "fit" any of my pages. I may include an archive on OFPv2, later, but for now...
  • "Say Cheese" Novel-Ts, Lafayette, IN - Personalized Photo Items
My sister's business site. She and my brother-in-law are in the photo transfer business, and wanted to have a "web presence". There are changes to come (like adding a shopping cart, etc.), but orders are being processed from there.
  • Barrington West Apartments, West Lafayette, Indiana
Dad showed me a site a couple of months ago, and asked if I could create one for Barrington West. I had a picture of the place, came up with the design of the site, and the rest, as they say, is history.
  • Lafayette Church of the Brethen, Lafayette, Indiana
I was asked to update this website. I used most of the original content, researched and found the COB "preferred colors" and used them, and created the "banner" and this site for them. The Bulletins and Announcements PDFs are usually sent to me Thursday, and either by Thursday evening or Friday, they are completely up-to-date on the published site.
  • Wi-Cott Appraisals, Lafayette, Indiana
My sister "broke away" from Bud Sanders Appraisals after my father retired and her business "The Corner Place on the Hill" (see below) didn't make it, and went on her own in the appraisal business. I designed the website graphics and "look" based on a business card she'd created.

Not Currently Active/Online

  • Sanders Rentals
This was the second website I created. It was designed to show my father's rental properties in Lafayette, Indiana. While it originally never made it to the internet, part of it may soon, at least as an example of my work!.
  • Elizabeth House
One of the Sanders Rentals properties, this one had its own server. The property was sold, and the server went bye-bye. The property is back, but the server isn't. This site will probably be part of Sanders Rentals, when it comes up.
  • LYAO Online
I designed all the graphics and the basic database for this website. It was designed to show the jokes from a "joke-letter" I was (and am again) putting out. I have about 4-5 years worth of 10-15 page joke-letters I had gleaned from the jokes and stories I had received in email from various people, normally from the prior week. A friend with MySQL and PHP experience created a DB and we started entering the data. After a while, we both got busy with other projects, and LYAO kind of went by the wayside. With problems on the server on which it was hosted, the server was replaced, but LYAO Online was never put back on. My friend said he was going to work the coding to clean it up. I haven't heard anything about it since.
    • UPDATE: I've since created LYAO-Online as a subdomain of OFP. Once I'm done with OFPv2, I will go back and start putting LYAOs on the site. I'm creating an LYAO Archive of the old emails, and a few other pages of "fun" stuff. Check it out at LYAO-Online, or just click the button in the left sidebar.
  • The Corner Place on the Hill, Lafayette, IN
My sister started a coffee-shop/art gallery where she was going to sell cappuccinos, other "flavored coffees", pop, teas and other drinks, as well as snacks and items from local artists. The graphics, background and color were all chosen and the site prepared, but it was never used. (See www.orangefrogproductions.com/tcp if you want to view the design.)
  • Possible Business Site - (I don't want to mention it here, or someone may "steal" my name.)
I have designed the graphics, colors, and layout of a site for which I may begin as a business. It ties into my genealogical research, and would provide genealogists world-wide information they may not be able to get anywhere else without expensive traveling. I would then provide CDs/DVDs for sale based on the site with pictures of the items in question. While there are other sites out there doing close to the same thing, many of them use pictures from their visitors, and they are not standardized in resolution/quality. My business would take and provide high-resolution pictures, allowing the buyers to print them in any size they wished.
