Site Home Page
Published Fall, 2006

Early in 2006, I added a Site Meter - Counter and Statistics Tracker to most of the OFP Websites, and found that many of OFP's "hits" were occurring when people searched for Rumors, Infomercial and Scam Information. I decided that I could, and should, split OFP into three (3) separate sections - "Main", "Owner" and "Scams, Shams and More Flim-Flams". I'd already begun work on LYAO-Online as a sub-domain of OFP, so that made four (4) sections. I created the "placards" used, created new banner versions for the separate sections, and began work on converting OFP to v2. I originally thought of updating the v1 Splash Page, but decided, instead to create the following, hopefully making it easier to navigate the site.

Owner Section Home Page
Published Fall, 2006

I created two more banners, by simply adding a semi-transparent title over the OFP initials. Using the same placard from the Site Home-Page, above, rather than a Header line, I created three different "Home" pages. Following is the Home page of the Owner's Section. The others look pretty much the same, with their own banners and placard. (The Main Section uses the original OFP banner.)

OFPv2 Representative Page
Published Fall, 2006

Following is representative page of OFP. Each page should have:

1. A Sidebar - containing the navigation to each section of OFPv2
2. A Banner - which should help you tell where in the site you are
3. A "Breadcrumbs" ("You are here") Section - containing links to the Site Home page, Section Home Page, and others, and the Title of the page (Yes, I know it's redundant at times ... Oh, well This title is the one that appears in search engines and in the window title bar. It's brought here by a small Javascript.
4. A Header Section containing:
   1. the Title of the page content (with a light orange background)
   2. Links for the page, if I feel they're needed
5. The Page Content
6. A linkbar to the sections, and a few utility pages
7. Copyright and other information, including a link to send an email to me, that will include the title of the page from which it's sent.

The following image only shows #1-5, above. THIS page should show the other stuff, if/when you scroll to the bottom.
