  1. Bill Clinton registers for the draft on September 08, 1964, accepting all contractual conditions of registering for the draft.
  2. Selective Service Number 3 26 46 228.
  3. Bill Clinton classified 2-S on November 17, 1964.
  4. Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on March 20, 1968.
  5. Bill Clinton ordered to report for induction on July 28, 1969.
  6. Bill Clinton refuses to report and is not inducted into the military.
  7. Bill Clinton reclassified 1-D after enlisting in the United States Army Reserves on August 07, 1969, under authority of Col. E. Holmes.
  8. Clinton signs enlistment papers and takes oath of enlistment.
  9. Bill Clinton fails to report to his duty station at the University of Arkansas ROTC, September 1969.
  10. Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on October 30, 1969, as enlistment with Army
  11. Reserves is revoked by Colonel E. Holmes and Clinton now AWOL and subject to arrest under Public Law 90-40 (2)(a) registrant who has failed to report ... remain liable for induction.
  12. Bill Clinton's birth date lottery number is 311, drawn December 1, 1969, but anyone who has already been ordered to report for induction is INELIGIBLE!
  13. Bill Clinton runs for Congress (1974), while a fugitive from justice under Public Law 90-40.
  14. Bill Clinton runs for Arkansas Attorney General (1976), while a fugitive from justice.
  15. Bill Clinton receives pardon on January 21, 1977, from Carter.
  16. Bill Clinton FIRST PARDONED FEDERAL FELON ever to serve as President of the United States.

All these facts come from Freedom of Information requests, public laws, and various books that have been published, and have not been refuted by Clinton.

While some of the above is true, per Snopes:

... the timeline quoted above jumps the tracks when it labels Clinton a "felon," because none of his actions, no matter how unethical or morally reprehensible, were illegal.

[Post Terrorist Attack Promises Not Kept]

  • After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
  • After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
  • After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
  • After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
  • After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, DC. that are now dead would be alive today.

Per THIS Snopes page:

In August 1998, President Clinton ordered missile strikes against targets in Afghanistan in an effort to hit Osama bin Laden, who had been linked to the embassy bombings in Africa (and was later connected to the attack on the USS Cole). The missiles reportedly missed bin Laden by a few hours, and Clinton was widely criticized by many who claimed he had ordered the strikes primarily to draw attention away from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

... Chasing Wrong-Doers

[Interesting Question - Gates or Bin-Laden?]

This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question.

There are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism.

That being the case, why was it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the eight years in office, than Osama bin Laden?

THINK ABOUT IT!

This one has been attributed to Paul Harvey, to Rush Limbaugh, to... Others mention that because Bill Gates (some point out that it was Microsoft, not Gates, himself) was a US entity, it's easier to prosecute them than to find Bin Laden in a foreign country. Others believe the government was after Gates' fortune.

And a poster on one board says:

I thought about it. It's bullshiat. The anti-trust people are completely separate from the intelligence community. But, let's continue to ask questions: Why did the Republican controlled congress spend $75 million going after Bill Clinton for a blow job rather than finding these same terrorists. OMG! It's all the GOP's fault!

At least he made a couple of partial point before he made the joke:

  1. We're talking about two separate parts of the government.
  2. Congress was spending quite a bit of time and money attempting to impeach Clinton for lying about an adulteress affair. (And how many out there who had them actually admit to them? ... to a whole country?)

Think about THAT.

... Book Deals

[Strange Turn of Events - Clinton Book Deals]

It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forth coming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who spent 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath.

Just a couple of points:

  • I'm pretty sure that his came out, originally as a JOKE! GEEZE!
  • If someone/some company is willing to pay huge sums of money to whomever for whatever is written, why is that Bill and Hillary's fault? And, think about this: If anything is written in the books that they swore under oath that they had "forgotten", couldn't they then be prosecuted for contempt of court?

Commander McWhorter did not originate this chain, as his name was added more than a year after the first copies of it surfaced.

P.S. Please forward this to as many people as you can! We don't want this woman to even THINK of running for President.

First, this "Please forward to as many people as you can" admonishment is typical off MANY types of Urban Legend, Advice, Attempted Assassination (of Character), and other emails. "Spread the word (even if it's not true.)" or "If we can get enough people to believe this shit, maybe our agenda will work!"

The above statement (and those like it) should be a red-flag. Check out all the pieces and parts of the email (see OFPv2/SSFF - Rumors - Home [Research Links section]

Second, Why does this say "Woman?" Isn't most of this email about ex-President BILL Clinton, not Hillary? How many times was her name mentioned, above? True, they're related, but how does anything he did as a politician effect how SHE is as a politician? I mean, if all of the above were about HER, I could understand this, but...
