Infomercial and it's website

Jeff Paul's "Secrets to Internet Millions - Three-clicks to Cash Websites" and "3-click Websites"

I've seen Jeff's name on a number of the infomercial review sites, but hadn't seen any infomercials, so basically ignored them. From my research on him, in his older infomercials, I'd have said he looks somewhat like a cross between G. Gordon Liddy and Cliff Clavin (Cheers). For the Shortcuts infomercial, he's clean-shaven, definitely has hair, and speaks with a "big city" (Chicago?) accent.

Many reviewers who sell biz-opp products themselves, say his products are good, though the material is somewhat old, up to 90% "repurposed" from prior products, and not even organized as well. I also read one, that said Jeff believed that "the internet is not a good place to market products because the average person online is young and not financially qualified to buy much." Well, my guess is with the major successes of eBay. and the many online stores, and with the success of other online ... mentors ... now he's gone full-bore into it.

There wasn't really all that much information on Shortcuts to Internet Millions, when I was researching it (January 27, 2007) but Paul's previous products, according to many sites, were "repurposed" versions of his older products, so I would not be surprised to find that Shortcuts is too, with the addition of "10 free three-click websites".

The Infomercial

Kelly Britz and Tina Milano from Jeff Paul's Shortcuts to Internet Millions infomercial

Kelly and Tina
from Jeff Paul's
Shortcuts to Internet Millions
Infomercial

Apparently taking a cue from one of Don Lapre's Greatest Vitamin in the World infomercials, two attractive women (Kelly Britz and Tina Milano) are sitting in a living room setting. Kelly thanks Tina for introducing her to the Shortcuts system, telling her she made a certain amount (I think it was $1800) her first week. Tina says that she, herself, made (I think it was) $1500 her first week; That she had known nothing about the internet before, except how to send email, and that that's how easy this system is.

What follows is the typical cuts to testimonials, back to the girls, more testimonials, more of the girls ... As you can see in the above establishing shot, they are leaning forward, and BOTH are showing more cleavage than the girls in Lapre's infomercials. (There are times when you can see that triangle of torso skin between and below the breasts!) While they talk to each other a lot, they BOTH also talk directly to the camera. In other words, Kelly, who supposedly just learned the system can tell you a LOT about it. Tina makes a lot of "OH WOW" faces while she's talking (you can see some of one of the girls' segments at Jeff Paul's Shortcuts to Internet Millions! main site.)

"The other guy" from Jeff Paul's Shortcuts to Internet Millions Infomercial

Tina Milano

There's another guy (didn't get his name) who explains each book/CD and explains the 10 websites thing, and how, if you remain a member of the "Big League", you can qualify for 10 new 3-click website businesses a month, meaning at the end of a year, you could have 120 websites out there, supposedly making you money. I think I remember him doing the "mini-commercial" in the infomercial, too.

Jeff pops into the infomercial at times, talking to the camera, explaining his system. As you can see by the picture, above, he looks like he could easily be a "blue-collar" factory or service-station worker.

Kelly Britz

FYI: Kelly (or Kelley) Britz, apparently, is a "booth model" at various conventions. I couldn't find any information in Tina Milano, though I would not be surprised if she, herself was a convention model. In fact, in one picture at a convention, two models were pictured taking a break. One of them is marked as Kelley Britz. In another picture, the other was named Courtney Michelle, though I think she looks amazingly like Tina. (More Kelly Britz shots from this site: 1, 2, 3). And, again... Sorry guys... Didn't find any nude shots of either. (Not all bodacious models DO nudes, ya know!)

NOTE: I created a page of larger images for Don Lapre's Greatest Vitamins infomercial, because it seemed many of my hits were looking for Tylene Megley, and I'd found more information for her, and images from earlier (and later) GVW infomercials/websites than the one I reviewed. I've provided a couple of links, above, to larger pix of Kelly/Kelley, but have been unable to find anything at all about Tina Milano. If you know of any links that give more information on either of these models, let me know.

The Product

Jeff Paul has apparently been a successful writer, speaker and mentor. One of his earlier courses is called "How I Earn $4,000 a Day Sitting At My Kitchen Table in My Underwear". From it, he created the "Kitchen Table Millionaires" Club, and another, with Jim Fleck, is called ""Jealously Guarded Secrets Of Writing Copy So Good You Can Sell Sand In The Desert!" - actually, "Killer Copywriting". (THIS one is "only $297 ... over $1000 off of the original price"!)

The "Shortcuts to Internet Millions" package includes: Quick Start Internet Marketing Toolkit; Best Kept Internet Marketing Secrets Revealed; Confidential Guide to Internet Products On Demand; Shortcuts to Internet Millions Audio CDs; 3 Clicks to Cash Websites – Includes 10 FREE Websites; Instant Internet Cash – Marketing Bible; 60 Day Money Back Guarantee (Less S&H). And, with this system you will also receive: the "BIG League Bonuses" of: 10 New Internet Businesses for Each Month of Membership - Up to 120 in a year; Monthly Tele-seminar; Jeff’s Advisory Hotline. For the Big League Bonuses, the first month of membership is free with kit purchase, and thereafter, you will be billed $39.95 [a month] after the 1st month [$39.95 is also the cost of the original media]. There is no mention about being billed $40 a month for the membership in the infomercial. This may be in fine print I missed, but it is stated on the website.

The "three-click websites" work like this:

  1. Choose a business (apparently, there are hundreds) - CLICK
  2. Enter you personal information - CLICK
  3. CLICK (I assume this one is a verification and acceptance screen) and you have "your own, unique, personalized website" to make you money.

The example site shown on the infomercial were not the best-looking sites I've seen. I hope they don't all look like that. Oh... And the 60-day money-back guarantee? If you use it, you get to "keep your ten websites". I'm not sure what that means. Does that mean you can still get the money from them? Do the "free" websites include hosting? Do you have to pay for the products? the shipping?

Remember, many of Paul's colleagues (other "internet gurus" or those selling biz-opps on the 'net) have said that much of the information in his courses is old... repurposed... That doesn't mean it's BAD, but what was good in the 1990s might not work in 2007.

There are numerous sites on the internet with free articles and information to help you start a business. There are MANY real-estate-specific sites out there. See my Shams/Infomercial Info Links and other links on that page for some of these sites.

Mentoring of America

Jeff Paul appears to at least HAVE used Mentoring of America. If he still does, a couple of weeks after you receive your package, you will get a call from them. They will ask numerous questions, and tell you that you need the information they give you to succeed with the system. (Apparently, any "free support" in the package doesn't include this coaching - It's probably more access to the sites, you were "also" given.)

It's also my understanding that many of the questions have to do with how much money you have available on credit cards. If you tell them, they will charge almost the full available amount. Otherwise, they are looking for a certain dollar amount, and, if you can't manage it on your current cards, they will point to you online credit card companies with free or low-interest introductory rates and a limit of about $5000, most of which they will then ask for.

Please be sure to check out my Business Opportunity Coaching and Mentoring Services page. There's more about this scam, there.

I suggest that even if you decide to purchase Paul's system, DO NOT under any circumstances accede to Mentoring of America, and pay for "coaching".

Reviews and Warnings

This section lists the sites where I found "negative" comments about the people and company, and/or the product. Some of the terms "sham", "scam", "scams", "flim-flam", "complain", "complaints", "rip", "rip-off", "fraud", "warning", similar words, and maybe just "review" were used in searching for negative comments.

WARNING: Be aware that some of the following sites may be attempting to sell their own or lead you into buying another product. If you consider their (or others') offers, at least do as much research on them as you would in looking for a new house, car or doctor before buying anything. Also, be sure to read and understand any company's Privacy Policies and Terms/Conditions, too. A "$$" indicates these sites.

NOTE: The majority of these are for Jeff Paul's older systems, not "Shortcuts to Internet Millions". However, remember that he's been known to "repurpose" old products to create new, and that a lot has changed over the past few years, as far as Direct Marketing goes. (What was good for the 90s will not work in 2007. Besides, the market's pretty well saturated with Jeff and his mentor's old students, and many others.)
