This sounds good. I would order it....but not from ITV Direct. They ripped me off on The Weight Loss Cure Books. I would never order anything from them. The laws that need to be passed are not to help them scam people but to tighten up on what they do. I got an automated order taker who sold me every magazine and extra she could while I said NO to each one. My credit card got a real workout. Buyer Beware!

To which page are you referring? Flex-Protex/Rice-n-Shine?
If it's ok, I will use your first name (only - no email
address) on a response page.

I think your article also needs to have some "research". I have found that you cannot make a blanket statement about a product. For whatever reason, some people have good results and some don't. And that goes for approved drugs by the FDA. It appears that we all need to try it and see.

*CONFUSION* - I don't believe I made a blanket statement about the product. If you are referring to it being in the "shams" section of this site, it's because I place ALL infomercial info here.

I saw the flex protex on RNNTV with Donald Barrett and Patty McPeak. What was to my surprise was when I went into the website http://www.flexprotex.com once there it states that the cost would be $39.95 plus $6.95 S&H. I called the number listed on website which was 1(800) 943-1835. The woman on the other end of the telephone told me that it would cost me $49.95 for one bottle forget mentioning as Donald Barrett stated that I had seen the informercial on RNNTV. The woman acted like she did not know what I was talking about. For this reason I cancelled my order. It seems to me that everyone has a gimmick. If this woman (Patty McPeak) was placed in charge of ending world hunger. I guess everyone will starve to death due to deceptive and fraudulent tactics as listed on http://www.flexprotex.com. I suffer like you wouldn't believe. But life goes on.
Respectfully,
Mrs. S. <last name removed> in NJ
Thank You for your website and information.

The thing to remember is that these people sell their products themselves, through their own and others' websites. When they go to ITV (and now, ITV Ventures), they make a deal with ITV to sell their products for less, normally, which allows ITV to get customers to try the product. When it comes time to renew the order, the price will most-likely be normal, though ITV Ventures may have a different process/deal. It's also very likely that the fulfillment company they use for their products do not know the prices offered by ITV. Patty McPeak may or may not be "deceptive and fraudulent", but I really don't think it has to do with the sales of the product. As far as I know, it's been listed at the above price for some time, now.
So, if you are going to order at a stated discount, be sure to use the phone number/website they mention on the infomercial. As you can see above, using the normal website and/or fulfillment company can result in confusion.
BTW: You will probably now have to be doubly careful when ordering from ITV. Many of their older and especially their newer products will most-likely be sold through ITV Ventures, a home-based business opportunity offered by Donald Barrett. Not only will you get the pitch about the product, but they will surely offer you a discount for quarterly or more payment (3-12 months - you will get the product, but the money may come out of your account immediately, rather than pro-rated per month over the time period). They may also try to sell you on the ITV Ventures business. Be sure to read my pages on ITV Direct and ITV Ventures, and the responses I've received on them..

I got your email off of a site I was reading and it said to send you an email if I wanted you to check out an infomercial. What information can you give me on rice n shine? One of the things I would like to know if it contains glucosimine or chondritin. I might have spelled these wrong. What other information can you give me on this product?

I DO have a Rice-n-Shine and Flex-Protex page. http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2s_shams_health_nutracea.shtml. Here are the ingredients from the Rice-n-Shine site: http://www.ricenshine.com/ingredients.html.
I hope these help.

I would like some help and info please.
I saw the infomercial on the RiceNShine. Ordered some.
Now cannot get anyone to return my calls. How do I get
to the head of the company. As far as I am concerned
they are a rip off. Please give me some guidance for
contacting the "powers that be" with that company.

Dear Bennie,
My pages were designed to warn people to be sure they have info they need BEFORE buying. I do not keep track of mailing addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. I do include the company's link in my emails, so whomever needs it can search it out.
If you made your order at ITV Direct or ITV Ventures, you will need to contact them. The only information I have is located on my website. You could do a Google search for either of the above, "ITV Direct" or "ITV Ventures" (whichever you used, WITH quotes). ITV (either) are distributors of RiceNShine, not the producers of it. For ITV Direct, see http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2s_shams_health_itvdirect.shtml. For ITV Ventures, see http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2s_shams_biz_itvventures.shtml. Please be sure to see the links on those pages for more information.
RiceNShine are produced by Nutracea - http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2s_shams_health_nutracea.shtml. As I said, it LOOKS like it might work for what it's originally designed. In other words, I would seriously doubt ALL the claims on the ITV show.
Since an ITV infomercial is the only place I've seen it advertised besides the web, I would say you need to contact ITV. IF, however, you ordered direct from them, you would want to contact them.
I hope this helps. Thanks for your feedback.
